As I slept in peace,
you woke me up in greed.
I rested my head in nature’s lap,
You saw me, you liked and aloud you clapped.
Every passerby stood, took out their machines and clicked-clacked,
The sleep that had just ventured in, went back.
More the dreaded look I gave,
You clicked more and thought it was brave.
All I wanted for heaven’s sake was to rest,
But you thought, to click, this was the time that you gave your best.
Irritated and agitated, I got up and left,
You woke me up, and I call it a silent theft.
